## Projects

- [Breathe](https://github.com/jaskaran-sethy/meditation-app) (android · kotlin · jetpack compose): A calm, offline breathing app. Four rhythms, three visual guides — an orb, a tide, a trace of light — and badges you can never lose.
- [Insight Extractor](https://jaskaransethy.com/games/insight-extractor) (nlp · web tool): Product Insights in the browser: paste feedback or a product link, get every opinion by topic and sentiment.
- [Mermaid Nixie](https://github.com/jaskaran-sethy/obsidian-mermaid-nixie) (obsidian plugin): Vault-wide Mermaid layouts: the ELK engine, right-angle edges and spacing that actually applies.
- [Nested List Numbers](https://github.com/jaskaran-sethy/obsidian-nested-list-numbers) (obsidian plugin): Numbered lists that know their parents, so item 1 under 2.2 reads as 2.2.1.
- [EncorePpuccin](https://github.com/jaskaran-sethy/obsidian-encoreppuccin) (obsidian theme): FastPpuccin with a few of Encore's touches: a logo divider, a pill sidebar switcher and headings in your accent colour.
- [Mobile Layout for Old Reddit](https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/mobile-layout-for-old-reddit/) (firefox extension): Old Reddit, made for a phone: a sticky top bar with a ☰ drawer, compact posts, and comment threads that collapse with a tap.

## From the blog

- [Pendulum Swings and Society](https://jaskaransethy.com/blog/pendulum-swings-and-society) (October 23, 2026): Physics and Phronesis
- [Recovering from Injury - It's easier than you think](https://jaskaransethy.com/blog/recovering-from-injury-its-easier) (October 22, 2026): Tendonitis, sprains and a herniated disc, with a full recovery from every one. What actually got me back, and stronger.
- [My Thoughts on Obsidian, 1 Week In](https://jaskaransethy.com/blog/thoughts-on-obsidian-one-week-in) (October 21, 2026): A decade of forcing note-taking apps to work, and then a week with one that just does.

## About

> I become deeply interested in almost everything under the sun.

I studied Biotechnology at IIT Roorkee, graduated with the Department Gold Medal, and fell for software along the way. After a year and a half as a Data Scientist at Sprinklr, I now work across data science and software engineering at Armor in Bengaluru.

Outside work it's fitness, gaming, reading, music and content creation, whatever has my attention this month.
